Alison Canavan has been forced to deny she is retiring from modelling.
The catwalk queen who has shared runways with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington, was described as a “former top model” in a press release, but told Goss.ie she is still very much active.
“I am still a model, that is my main job, I was just as surprised when I press release said I was a ‘former model’.

“I’m actually flying to London the week after next to start a new campaign, so it’s very much my job,” she explained.
The model mum will be taking to the airwaves next week on pop up radio station Upbeat On Air.
Alison will be joined by a host of celebrities promoting positive mental health, including Ruth Scott, Sinead Lynch and Shay Byrne.
