Saoirse Ronan’s hairstylist has revealed he has given her a “dangerous” haircut ahead of the Oscars.
The Carlow native is up for Best Actress for her role in Brooklyn and her hairdresser Conor McAllister has given her a cut that will make her stand out from the crowd.
Conor has been Saoirse’s hairstylist since she was 14 and is said to have prepared for the show with a two hour colour and blow-dry.

“Saoirse had her hair sombre in Brooklyn but I wanted to brighten it up for LA,” he told the Irish Sun.
“I suppose I put a bit of danger into it with some extra highlights.”
Saoirse will walk the Oscars red carpet tonight for her second nomination, after she was previously up for Best Supporting Actress for Atonement in 2007.
The actress faces stiff competition from Room star Brie Larson who recently won Best Female Lead at the Independent Spirit Aawards.
