Danny O’Reilly has slammed a political campaign after they used his name when describing Irish artists who have been “shaftd” by the radio industry.
The Coronas frontman took to the group’s official Facebook account to hit out at the campaign and insisted that he never agreed to be associated with it.
The campaign alleges that Irish singers and songwriters are not given enough airplay on national radio stations, however Danny has vehemently disagreed with the claims.

The Dubliner insisted that he’s been very happy with the support given to the band by Irish radio stations.
However, the singer did admit that the “current legilisation affecting what constitutes to be reviewed”.
