Sharon Corr has admitted feeling angered that people assumed her brother Jim was the talented member out of their family band – because he was a man.
The 45-year-old singer insisted her and her sisters were keen to prove they were more than just good looks.
”I am the eldest sister and that did make me feel protective towards Andrea and Caroline, but we’re all pretty feisty,”she said.

“When we first got the band together, the assumption was that our brother, Jim, was the leader and we were just the eye candy.”
Speaking to The Sunday Times, the Louth native revealed her and her sister weren’t shy in giving there opinions.
”That made us fight even harder for recognition,” she explained.
“But nobody ever came to us and told us we had to wear skimpy tops in our videos … they knew we would be the first to tell them where to stick them.”
