Irish social media star Miriam Mullins has announced her engagement to her longterm beau Tiaan Heyns.
The Cork native shared the exciting news on Instagram today, posting a video of the moment Tiaan proposed in his native Cape Town in South Africa.
She captioned the post: “YES YES YES !!! We have a wedding to plan 💍💝 The biggest shock I thought I was filming a couples OOTD 🤣🤣.”
The TikTok star, who appeared on Dancing With The Stars earlier this year, also shared photos from the happy occasion.
“I’m literally still in shock that this happened 🙈💍,” she wrote.
“We are so happy & can’t wait for the next chapter 💖💖 aghhhh ! wtf I’m ENGAGED ?!?!”
The couple have been together for four years, after meeting while she was living in Florida.
During a previous interview with Goss.ie, Miriam revealed she was the one who made the first move.
“When I moved over to Florida, he was training me. I had a massive crush on him, and asked him out. I’m the one who made the first move,” she told us.
“We keep saying we need to go back to Florida since that’s where we first met and we haven’t been back there since.”

Speaking to us in January 2023, Miriam also hinted she was waiting for Tiaan to propose.
She said: “Yeah so Tiaan is South African, and he’s here on a three year Visa which is up in 2024.
“So he’ll have to propose some time soon, maybe this year we’ll have to wait and see…”
The 28-year-old is one of Ireland’s most popular social media stars, with over 2.1million followers on TikTok and 153k followers on Instagram.
