Anton Savage has officially returned to the Ireland AM team.
The presenter broadcaster will now host the Virgin Media Television show for the remainder of August.
The former Today FM broadcaster is filling in for Karen Koster as she takes annual leave this month.
Sharing the news on his Twitter page this weekend, Anton shared a photo of himself sporting long, messy hair, joking that he was “camera ready”.

“Going on our summer staycation and taking some parental leave too so it’ll be Sept before I’m tonging my hair at 7am again,” Karen told viewers.
“Hoping I return to a show where all we talk about is how Covid is now gone and the kids are all back to school and loving it.
“But for the next few weeks it’s time to forget about the alarm clock and just leave it to my kids to get me up at 6am.”
Meanwhile their showbiz correspondent Glenda Gilson has moved from weekdays to the weekends during host Anna Daly’s annual leave.
