Prime Time host Miriam O’Callaghan has admitted she wears hair extensions.
The RTE star is known for her impeccable style, and stunning figure – and admitted she uses extensions to make her hair more bouncy.
“I have extensions. They are not clip-ins, they are real. A great woman in Kerry did it and I love them. They bond them in,” she said.
“I used to clip them in and now I bond. I like them because they make your hair so bouncy,” she told the Herald.

Speaking at the launch of the RTE Player International, Miriam admitted other RTE stars are doing the same thing – but won’t admit it.
“I wore them for a few shows and then I realised that most TV presenters wear them – they just don’t say it.
“I think it’s the same reason people don’t say why they dye their hair: they want people to think they woke up like this.
“But meet me at four in the morning and I could scare the cats,” she laughed.

Although RTE pay €1,500 for Miriam’s trendy wardrobe, the presenter pays for her own hair and styling.
“I’m on air all the time but I get no money whatsoever for my hair which I need to get done all the time,” she explained.
