Kelly McCreary has announced she’s expecting her first child with her husband Pete Chatmon.
The actress, who plays Dr Maggie Pierce in Grey’s Anatomy, shared the exciting news via Instagram on Monday.
Alongside a photo of her positive pregnancy test, the 39-year-old wrote: “When being late comes right on time… Surprise! WE’RE HAVING A BABY!”

“Pete and I are thrilled to be growing our family, and to share the news with all of you!” she added.
Kelly met her director husband on the set of Grey’s Anatomy, and the couple tied the knot in 2019.
The mum-to-be and her costars are currently filming season 18 of the hit medical drama.
