One of Game Of Thrones’ most popular characters is set to return.
Gendry, played by Joe Dempsie, is rumoured to be making a comeback on the hit HBO show.
The skilled blacksmith sailed away in a small rowboat season three in order to avoid priestess Melisandre’s clutches.

According to Watchers On The Wall, Joe was spotted in Northern Ireland back filming where he left off –Â Dragonstone.
The actor had admitted before that he would be happy to return to the show to set some of the unanswered questions about his character straight.
“There’s a lot of unanswered questions about Gendry and the longer it goes on, the more obvious his absence becomes,” he told Digital Spy.
“I mean, God, the amount of memes I get sent on Twitter. Whether they’ll bow to that pressure or not, I don’t know. But fingers crossed, because it’d be lovely to go back.”
Game Of Thrones returns to HBO in summer 2017.
