Des Bishop has admitted that he’s been struggling in rehearsals this week for Dancing With The Stars, after the cast went on a wild night out last Sunday in Dublin’s city centre.
The 41-year-old impressed judges in the first show of the series, however, the comedian has been less than enthusiastic this week after Sunday night’s celebrations in Diceys.
“I was sore on Monday and even sorer on Tuesday. I shouldn’t have gone out dancing all night, I really felt that. We went out afterwards and we danced until 2.30 in the morning.
“I danced from 9am until two in the morning and I’m regretting it now,” he told the Herald.

“I’ve been at 50 percent energy all this week. I haven’t been able to give it as much in rehearsals. I really felt it, 41 crept up on me a bit. We went out for karaoke,” he said.
“We were all starving and I said ‘let’s go for Chinese’ and, long story short, nine of us went and they gave us a private room and eating and then the karaoke came on and it all got pretty full-on.
“We said ‘let’s go out dancing’ and it was one of the great nights of my life. We were out and I had so much more confidence to grab strangers and do a little boogie, and I was dancing with the pros. We were giving it full Saturday Night Fever,” he added.
