Miriam O’Callaghan says writing a book on motherhood would be ‘arrogant’

Miriam O’Callaghan has said it would be too “arrogant” to write a book on motherhood.

The Prime Time host revealed she has been asked to write books but she has turned down offers.

“I would never do that and in the past I’ve been asked to write books, but I’d never do it,” she told the Irish Daily Mail.

“Giving advice? I struggle to get things right and I usually get things wrong.”

“So the notion of me trying to advise someone else on how to bring up their kids, I find that incredibly arrogant,” she explained.

“Just do what’s right for you, be kind to your kids and ask them to be kind to others,” she added.

Miriam was speaking at the launch of the 2017 LauraLynn Heroes Ball, taking place on May 6 in Dublin’s Intercontinental Hotel with Tv3 host Alan Hughes.
