Author Cecelia Ahern is set to become a teen author – after signing a new book deal.
The Dublin writer will be putting out two books aimed at teenagers – with the first called Flawed.
It is set in a world where perfection is valued above humanity, where the novel’s heroine Celestine is badly secluded.
She finds herself at the edge of society after helping one of the so-called “flawed people”.

Her first book will be published by HarperCollins Children’s Books next summer and the second book, Perfect, will follow a year later.
It comes just as she is getting set for the release of Love Rosie, a film based on her book.
Publishing director Nick Lake said: “Cecelia has a unique gift for creating stories that hook the reader in, and Flawed grabs from the first page,.
“Beautifully realised, tender and thought-provoking, this is a book that makes you care – about Celestine, about fairness, about freedom.”
