Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly ‘living apart’ amid marriage speculation

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly “living apart” amid speculation surrounding their marriage.

The couple haven’t been seen together in public since March 30th, which has sparked split concerns.

Now, many sources have claimed that the two stars are living separately while both are in Los Angeles.

Ben and Jennifer’s Las Vegas wedding

According to People, Ben has been staying at one of their other properties while filming his movie The Accountant 2 – not at the couple’s Los Angeles home.

However, despite this speculation, they have been spotted still wearing their wedding rings.

The a-list couple were seen out separately on May 16th, and both appeared to be wearing their wedding bands.

Ben, 51, was spotted on a solo drive in Los Angeles, while Jennifer, 54, flashed her ring finger as she arrived at an LA dance studio.

Fuelling speculation, eagle-eyed fans spotted Jennifer liking a March 19th Instagram post about healthy relationships, which partly read: “You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves.”

Earlier this month, the songstress also attended the 2024 Met Gala, where she stunned in Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, without Ben – despite being one of the co-chairs for the event.

According to his rep, Ben was busy filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.

The couple, famously dubbed Bennifer, got back together in May 2021 – 17 years after they called off their engagement.

The pair broke up just three days before their wedding back in 2003.

In Jennifer’s new documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, the singer and her now-husband recounted how things went wrong days before their planned nuptials.

The 54-year-old actress said: “Ben and I, we broke up three days before our wedding.”

“We had a big wedding planned — 14 ushers and bridesmaids, and three days before we just crumbled under the pressure.”

Affleck agreed, and told the cameras: “When Jen and I broke up before, the catalyst for that was the massive amount of scrutiny around our private life.”

The director of her new film Dave Meyers, recalled how Jennifer was during the tumultuous time: “When her and Ben first broke up, it was catastrophic to her constitution, everything that she wanted from what she understood love to be.”

“For that to not work, for the pressures to break it apart, it just spun her out.”

The Jenny From The Block singer agreed and said: “For all those years it was really hard, because I didn’t just feel like I lost the love of my life, I felt like I lost the best friend that I ever had.”

“And I couldn’t talk for so many years, and that was the hardest part.”

Ben asked: “I think for us to move on from that, we have to forgive it, forgive each other. Do you forgive me?”

Jennifer responded with just a smile.

Later, she expanded on those feelings, telling her now-husband: “That heartbreak set both of us on a course to figuring ourselves out and to being better people.”

“Do you think you’ve forgiven me all the way?” he asked again.

“Yeah, I think I’ve forgiven you all the way,” she responded. “I think I need to forgive myself some things.”

The “it” couple of the early noughties tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022.
