U2 were joined by an extra special guest at their Madison Square Garden concert last night.
US chat show host Jimmy Fallon appeared in the audience during the concert, with a sign in front of his face that said “Singer with a broken finger.”
Once U2 frontman Bono saw the sign, he invited The Tonight Show host on stage to join them for a rendition of their hit Desire.
The surprise performance was soon followed by a surprise appearance by Jimmy’s Tonight Show band The Roots — who joined the Dublin four-piece for a rendition of Angel of Harlem.
However, Jimmy and The Roots weren’t the only famous faces in the audience with Bono giving a shoutout to Paul McCartney, Christy Turlington and Angelique Kidjo.
The Irish rockers are currently in the middle of an eight-day residency at Madison Square Garden with their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE with.
