Watch: Robert Sheehan's brother Brendan turns into a country Garda in hilarious comedy sketch

Brendan Sheehan has finally stepped out of his brothers shadow, after landing a lead role in a new comedy show.

The Irish actor has shown off his comedy skills in a new Irish TV pilot called Garda.

The older brother of Love/Hate star Robert Sheehan shines in the hilarious sketch about two Gardai.

Speaking about the role Brendan said he’s already in talks to make more episodes with director Trevor O’Neill.

“I met Trevor and the guys a few weeks back and I saw they were looking for someone,” Brendan told Goss.ie.

“I had great fun doing it and I feel very lucky that Trevor asked me to be in other sketches he’s planned. It’s a pleasure and turbo craic working with them.”

And director Trevor said he is already “100% planning” on making more.

“It was such a laugh shooting the pilot. There’s lots more coming and our team is some of the funniest and talented people you could meet off camera,” Trevor told Goss.ie.
