A long way from his famous role as James Bond, Pierce Brosnan is back on our screens playing a ruthless killer.
The Navan native plays The Watchmaker, a professional hitman in the action-packed thriller.
Planting bombs and owning a host of weapons, the 65-year-old’s character is far removed from any we’ve seen him play before.

The film is based around a Foreign Service Officer newly posted to the American embassy in London.
There she is responsible for stopping terrorists from getting into the U.S. and that puts her in the line of fire.
Soon she is targeted for death, framed for crimes she didn’t commit and goes on the run.

As the fast-paced trailer suggests she must find a way to clear her name and stop a large-scale terrorist attack set for New Year’s Eve in New York’s Times Square.
Directed by V for Vendetta’s James McTeigue, it also stars Milla Jovovich alongside Pierce in the film which is out in theatres in June and it looks like it’s going to be a hit.
