Watch: Louis Walsh goes CRAZY as stage-invader joins Stereo Kicks' X Factor performance

Louis Walsh was left furious tonight when a stage-invader tried to ruin Stereo Kicks’ performance.

The X Factor was rocked after a man wearing a maroon jacket – believed to be comedian Lee Nelson – attempted to become a member of the eight-piece boyband.

Security were forced to run onstage during their performance of You Are Not Alone after the lad tried to masquerade as a ninth member of the group.

They were shouted at by mentor Louis, 62, and Mel B who were furious at the invasion. Afterwards, he quipped: “Now everyone wants to be in Stereo Kicks!”

Speaking afterwards, Irish lad Chris Leonard said he hoped people weren’t put off by the invader.

He said: “I really hope that guy running on stage tonight didn’t ruin the performance for everyone tonight. We had so much fun.”

Furious Simon Cowell told the audience that security should have been better than they were.

He added: “Louis, you wanted to turn them into a five piece but now you’ve turned them into a nine piece!”

Audience members said Cheryl Cole initially checked that Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding, who was at the show, hadn’t invaded the stage.

Previously Calvin Harris caused chaos when he invaded the stage during a Jedward performance waving a pineapple.
