RTE reality star Kate McGrew is set to tell her mum that she works as a prostitute on Connected tonight.
But the US-born cast member of the show – which features six Irish women filming their lives – fears the conversaion.
“I’m about to have a discussion with my mum telling her about the work that I do,” she explained.
“And I’m feeling really nervous. It really makes me sad to think that she might be worried, you never want to upset your parents.”
The Connected star works as an escort to boost her income in Cork, where she lives – but insisted she isn’t a victim.
She said: “I really do enjoy it. I find it interesting and pleasurable, thankfully.”
