The return date for award winning drama Love/Hate has finally been revealed.
Tom Vaughn Lawlor, who plays Nidge in the show, made the announcement on the Late Late Show.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy Tom revealed the series will return on Sunday October 5th.
The actor also spoke about playing the gangland king on the RTE series.

“What was initially striking about him was here’s his duality, here’s a man who has a life of crime but is also a father and a husband, and lives a middle class life in a leafy suburb of Dublin,” he said.
“He’s seductive, his charisma, his energy is seductive. For all of his black soul there is humanity and that’s why it makes him fascinating, it makes him human.”
Tom, who lives in England with his wife Claire and son Freddie, said filming the show can be intense.
“We shoot over eleven weeks. So it’s kind of roll up your sleeves and go full pelt. It requires an intensity, a fitness and a lot of patience,” he said.

“But we all, when we go to work everyday, realise how lucky we are to be playing these characters.”
And Tom’s wife Claire, who was in the Late Late Show audience, says she makes sure that he relaxes when he comes home from filming.
“I just tell him to calm down and make me some food or make me a cup of tea,” she said.
Meanwhile Tom denied the IFTA winning show glamourises violence.

“To glamourise violence you would have to depict violence without consequence. But the psychology and the emotional landscape of the show is about cost,” he explained.
“The cost to communities, of families, the cost to individual souls. They are complex men and the life they have chosen will lead them to damnation.”
