Keith Duffy lashes out at Facebook imposter: 'Hope I don't find out who you are'

Keith Duffy has lashed out a Facebook user pretending to be him who has been posting online about his children.

The Boyzone star has reached out to fans to ask them to block and report the imposter’s page.

“Whoever is pretending to be me, hope I don’t find out who you are,” he warned.

Many of the posts on the mysterious Facebook page concern Keith’s 15-year-old daughter Mia, who has autism.

Keith took to Twitter to reassure fans that he does not use any other social media websites and he never discusses his daughter online.

The fake profile has asked people for advice on calming children down when they have a tantrum and has also told followers that Mia has found being out of the school routine during the Easter holidays difficult.

“Just want to say happy birthday to my little princess Mia happy 15th birthday I’m so proud of you lots of love from all your family,” the poster wrote in March.

Bizarrely, the user also posted about what a proud dad he was of both his children and commented that Mia had “come so far since her diagnosis”.

Mia was diagnosed with autism when she was 18 months old and her dad has been a keen campaigner, raising awareness about autism ever since.

“This is not me, it’s some weirdo please report – block page,” Keith told fans.
