Jedward have proved they are truly over their near-death drowning horror – by returning to the waterline for their new video.

The Eurovision stars become at risk of being swept away to sea after being caught on a sandbank in darkness for hours late at night.

They had to be rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter after fears they could potentially drown.

But the pop twins showed they are back to their best by filming huge parts of the video for Free Spirit beside the water in Wicklow.

It also sees them heading to Italy with their flat hair – where they film at the Colosseum.

Back to the waterline: Jedward in their new video

Both John and Edward wrote and produced the new track, as they prove they can sustain a career after leaving Louis Walsh behind.

It comes as Simon Cowell insisted he doesn’t want anyone like Jedward on the new X Factor series, calling them a novelty act.

Embarrassed Jedward previously admitted they had hoped to keep their sea rescue a secret.
