“There’s not that many movies to shoot but I’d love to – or at least do a Game of Thrones episode in Northern Ireland.”

Speaking at the premiere of Daddy’s Home at the Savoy Cinema, the 48-year-old also admitted that Irish fans are among the best in the world.

“The fans are really great. Ireland is such a big supporter of US comedies. They’re fantastic, super vocal and always looking to have a good time so it’s great,” he told Goss.ie.

“I’m doing the Late Late Show at 9am tomorrow morning, so I’ll just have to pretend that it’s late at night,” he joked.

Will also dished about working with co-star Mark Wahlberg and admitted the younger actor learned a thing or two from him.

“Mark is great, he’s a very accomplished actor, he’s known more for his dramatic work but Mark is as funny as they come,” he told Goss.ie.

“We share the same comedy beliefs in that you just commit hard to the character.”

“I didn’t learn from him, he learns from me. He’s a quick student, he works incredibly hard.”
