A far cry from his villainous role in Star Wars, Domhnall Gleeson has been cast in new Rom-Com Crash Pad.
The movie will see the Malahide native play a hopeless romantic who thinks he’s found true love with an older woman.
However it’s not all plain sailing as he learns the object of his affection is married and their fling is just only to get back at her neglectful husband.

At this point he threatens to blackmail her by telling her husband however his plan backfires when the husband decides the best way to revenge his wife is to move in with Domhnall’s character.
According to Variety, the Dubliner will appear in the flick alongside Christina Applegate, who will play his love interest as well as  Thomas Haden Church and Nina Dobrev.
The movie has already started shooting in Vancouver and will be directed by Kevin Tent.
