Louis Tomlinson is the final One Direction number to kick start his own solo career.
The singer has been keeping low since welcoming his son Freddy this year, but now music sources have confirmed he’s set to make a big comeback.
Unlike the other members of One Direction, Louis has decided to stay with Simon Cowell’s label Syco and will be releasing new tracks in 2017.
“Louis is a brilliant songwriter and had not initially planned his own solo career,” a source told the UK Sun.
“But he’s been back in the studio and has been working on some really amazing music.
“He’s played some to the powers that be at Syco, who are really excited.
“They think he could be a real success as a solo artist,” the insider told the publication.
While Niall Horan released This Town just recently, Zayn Malik was the first member to launch his own solo career with number ones around the globe.
Now both Harry Styles and Liam Payne have been working on tracks, so it was only a matter of time before Louis would start his own record.
