“It hasn’t affected me at all, it really hasn’t impacted me. I cycle to work most of the time and I take the bus actually. If it’s wet or windy I take the bus, otherwise I cycle,” he admitted.

Bryan added: “I cycle to work all the time, that’s about 4 or 5 miles. But I feel any kind of strain I go down a gear, I take it fairly handy.”

“I live in Dublin 8 so I live in town, it’s great to cycle. Otherwise I’m just sitting in traffic all the time.

“I’ve got a couple of weeks off in July, my wife and I are going to go to America. We’re going to Massachusetts Boston, I’ve never been there before.

“There’s a lovely coast and seaside and I want to visit South Boston, where all the Irish are, I’m really fascinated by that. I get a couple of weeks off and then I’m off again in August.

“Most of the leave I get I take it all together,” he told Goss.ie.
