Victoria Beckham fuels Spice Girls reunion rumours

Victoria Beckham has fuelled rumours the Spice Girls are set to reunite.

According to The UK Sun, the popular girl band are considering headlining Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage next summer – to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

There are reportedly also plans for a documentary featuring never-before-seen footage of the group, and Netflix and Apple TV are said to be eager to get the rights.

Amid the speculation, Victoria took to TikTok to share a video of herself belting out the band’s song ‘Say You’ll Be There’ during a karaoke session.

Posh Spice was out celebrating Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami debut with her husband David over the weekend.

She cryptically captioned the video: “Warming up the vocals in Miami! More to come 🤫!! 🎶🎤”

One fan commented on the post: “Yeeeeeees! We need this comeback!!!!”

Another wrote: “This is AMAZING!!! Posh is back!! 😨😨☺️🥰🥰🥰🖤🖤🖤”

It comes after a report by The UK Sun claimed Victoria will join the Spice Girls for their rumoured reunion.

A source told the publication: “For the past few years the Spice Girls have still been operating day-to-day as a four but, for the first time in a long time, Victoria is now chipping in and happy to celebrate a landmark 30 years of girl power.”

“Their schedules are pretty manic so getting them all in one room at any one time is hard. But over the past six months there’s been more contact as a five than at any time since the 2012 Olympics.”

“Victoria will be 50 next year, and the girls turning 30 seems like two anniversaries too good to miss. There will be no new music, and Victoria is adamant she doesn’t want to perform live unless for an incredibly exciting one-off opportunity.”

“The group have been in talks to headline Glastonbury and this would sit with Victoria’s ‘cool’ aesthetic. And, certainly, hubby David and their four kids would love it,” the insider continued.

“The girls have discussed a documentary which would show never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes footage plus present-day interviews. All five are on board to mark 30 years in some way, shape or form. It’s very exciting.”

Spice Girls was formed in 1994 and went on to become the best-selling girl group of all time.

However, Geri Haliwell suddenly left the band in 1998, and the remaining members went their separate ways in 2000.

All five members reunited for a string of comeback concerts in 2007, and the last time they all performed together was at the London Olympics in 2012.

In 2019, Spice Girls got back together for a reunion tour of the UK & Ireland, but Victoria declined to be a part of it.
