Tom Fletcher will return to Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, after recovering from Covid-19.
The McFly star and his pro dancer partner Amy Dowden were forced to pull out of the competition hours before the first live show, after they both tested positive for the virus.
The pair have since confirmed they will be returning to the show on Saturday night for Movies Week, where they will be performing a jive to Johnny B Goode from Back To The Future.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Tom shared photos of him and Amy practicing their routine over FaceTime.
He wrote: “How it started vs how it’s going. Isolation is NOT stopping team #MCFLOWDEN on MOVIE WEEK!”
“Can’t wait to do this dance on Saturday! Giving it everything I’ve got. @amy_dowden @bbcstrictly 🎞🎥🎬🍿🕺”
On Sunday night, EastEnders star Nina Wadia and her pro dancing partner Neil Jones became the first couple to be booted from the show.
They went up against Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn and dance pro Gorka Marquez in the dance-off, with the judges voting to save Katie.
