Sarah Ferguson is set to host This Morning.
The Duchess of York will join Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the sofa on Monday morning.
The mum-of-two will also oversee the live programme from both the gallery and studio floor after bosses were impressed with her previous performances as a show contributor.
Fergie said: “I have appeared on This Morning before, but this time I am coming back in a very different role.”
“I love live TV and am an enormous fan of the show, and the whole team is always lovely to deal with.”
“I’m looking forward to being there for the whole morning, and thrilled to be guest editing the show which will mean getting to explore some topics that I’m passionate about.”
Some of the topics the Duchess of York, who is the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, will discuss include how to rehome a dog, how to protect your skin, and an interview with Sir Cliff Richard.
This Morning’s editor Martin Frizell said of Fergie’s hosting debut: “We are all delighted Sarah, Duchess of York wanted to come back here and I’m very happy for her to make some of my decisions on Monday.”
“She has a great understanding of the show and how television works and I feel viewers will be really interested in the running order she is putting together.”
The news comes during in a bid to replace Holly Willoughby on the ITV morning show, just weeks after her shock exit.
This Morning is also down another host, as Josie Gibson is set to make an appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! tonight, November 19.
