This is how many people voted for Jess and Sammy to win Love Island

Jess Harding and Sammy Root were crowned the winners of summer Love Island 2023 on Monday night.

Ahead of the final, fans were asked to vote for their favourite couple to win the £50,000 cash prize.

According to voting figures released by ITV, Jess and Sammy secured 34.57% of the public vote.

Runners-up Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki received 26.85% of the public vote.

Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde, who placed third, secured 24.21% of the vote.

Finally, fourth place couple Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble received 14.37% of the public vote.

The summer Love Island 2023 voting figures are drastically different to that of this year’s winter series and last year’s summer series.

Earlier this year, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan secured a massive 44% of the public vote, while runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins received 30% of the votes.

Elsewhere, Samie Elishi and Tom Clare came in third place with 24% of the votes, and Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad came in fourth place, after securing just 2% of the votes.

Winter Love Island 2023 finalists

Last year, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti secured an eye-watering 63.69% of the public vote.

Runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish scored just 14.47% of the final vote, while Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, who came third, received 11.77% of the vote.

Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, who finished in fourth place, received 10.07%. of the vote.
