Tasha Ghouri has addressed the rumoured feud between her Love Island co-stars.
The 24-year-old placed fourth on the hit dating show alongside her boyfriend Andrew Le Page.
The dancer has kept in contact with quite a few of her fellow contestants, with some even reuniting to celebrate her 24th birthday with her; however, her lack of contact with other Islanders has raised eyebrows.
However, over the past couple of weeks there have been reports of a rumoured feud between some of the cast of Love Island 2022 – in particular Gemma Owen and Paige Thorne.
Quashing rumours that she has any issues with her co-stars, Tasha told The UK Sun: “I’ve been staying in touch with everybody. It’s hard, we’re all so busy.”
“Sometimes I can’t keep up because everyone’s smashing it.”
“It was so nice to see everyone at the National Television Awards and Pride of Britain. We all catch up and have a really nice night together.”
“There’s space for everyone,” Tasha added. “That’s why there’s no competition between the girls. The girls and boys are smashing it.”
“Everyone has different goals and dreams. I’m on my own path.”
“I’m so proud of everyone.”
Last month, Gemma fuelled rumours that she’s fallen out with Paige, after listing her “favourite people” from the villa.
In a Q&A posted to her YouTube channel, the 19-year-old answered a fan’s burning question: “Who were your favourite people from the show?”
The dressage rider responded: “Ok, so my favourite people from the show – and I’m not just saying this because I don’t want to be controversial or anything – but I got on with everyone when I was in the villa.”
“It was such a good group of people. It was such a good bunch. There were a few little arguments here and there, but everyone got on so well.”
“Out of the girls, all of the girls that I was in the final with I was close with, I got on with Tasha and Ekin-Su [Cülcüloğlu], all of the girls really. All of the final girls. Antigoni [Buxton] as well I really got on with.”
“Then, out of the boys, I really really got on with Ikenna [Ekwonna], I know he was sort of in and out quite early, but I really liked him. He’s such a cool guy and I actually enjoyed being in his company. Out of the Casa [Amor] boys, I really got on with Josh [Le Grove] and Deji [Adeniyi] as well.”
Gemma raised eyebrows in failing to mention Paige as one of the girls she was closest to in the villa.
Back in September, the Welsh paramedic took part in an Instagram Q&A with her 1.4million followers and was asked who she still stayed in touch with from the show.
She replied with a photo of her and Antigoni posing in front of a mirror and also tagged Dami Hope, Indiyah Polack and Tasha in the post.
Paige wrote: “All of them mostly! Have to remember everyone’s super busy atm but I’m in touch with these guys the most.”
She also shared a sweet video alongside Tasha along with the caption: “Every brunette needs a blonde.”
The 26-year-old then posted video with Danica Taylor, but did not share any snaps with Gemma, hinting that they haven’t stayed in touch, despite appearing close in the Love Island villa.
On Monday, it was reported that Tasha’s boyfriend Andrew had fallen out with Gemma’s boyfriend Luca Bish.
The real estate agent reportedly quit Luca’s sister’s management company.
The reality star’s older sister Claudia Rosa Bish is the director of Influencer Overnight Limited.
She, along with Adam Minto and Thomas Allsworth, owns the company, and prior to this, she owned The Blogger Agent.
Andrew had been signed to The Blogger Agent, and had them listed as his management after leaving the villa back in August.
However, Andrew recently changed his Instagram bio to say that he is represented by @84world_.
Andrew and Luca clashed in the villa, after the fishmonger and Irish contestant Dami Hope accused Tasha of being insincere about her feelings for the real estate agent.
During the Suck and Blow challenge, Luca chose Tasha as the Islander who he believed was “riding someone’s coattails,” while Dami accused her of “walking over” Andrew.
The pair said sorry to the dancer; however, many fans believed their apologies were insincere and that the issue hadn’t been resolved.
Andrew and Luca reportedly reunited to film an ITV Christmas special last month.
The brand new talent competition Britain Get Singing will feature stars from fan-favourite ITV shows including Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Loose Women, Love Island and The Chase.
The teams will band together to create supergroup choirs, hoping to impress viewers and raise awareness around mental health.
A TV insider previously told The UK Sun: “The show will be brilliant festive fun, all in the name of a great cause to raise awareness around mental health. There is something for everyone, from soap fans to reality obsessives and quiz show addicts, so it’s perfect viewing for the whole family around the silly season.”
The 90-minute special was reportedly filmed in Manchester at the beginning of October.
Love Island stars Tasha, Antigoni Buxton, Andrew, Danica Taylor, Luca and Paige are reportedly set to compete on the show.
Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch, Judi Love, Linda Robson and Kelle Bryan will compete on behalf of Loose Women.
Michael Le Vell (Kevin Webster), Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster), Rob Mallard (Daniel Osbourne), Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth), Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew) and Channique Sterling-Brown (Dee-Dee Bailey) will compete as part of the Coronation Street group.
The Emmerdale group includes Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle), Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle), Jay Kontzle (Billy Fletcher), Olivia Bromley (Dawn Taylor), Daisy Campbell (Amelia Spencer), Bradley Johnson (Vinny Dingle) and Lawrence Robb (Mackenzie Boyd).
The Chase group includes Anne “The Governess” Hegerty, Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan and Darragh “The Menace” Ennis.
