Russell Brand has revealed that he once kissed Meghan Markle.
The actor spilled all during an appearance on Loose Women, admitting that he had to snog Meghan while shooting his hugely popular film Get Him to the Greek.
When asked whether it was true that he had once kissed the soon-to-be royal, Russell replied, “As a matter of fact it is.”
“But let me say, before you get carried away with it – there’s a wedding on Saturday, focus! – she was in a film that I was in, Get Him to the Greek, it was a bloody good film.”
The comedian, who has struggled with substance abuse over the years, also revealed that he could barely remember kissing her because he was “out of it”.
“Meghan Markle, didn’t know at the time because she wasn’t married to a royal person so I wasn’t paying attention. I don’t remember the film that much, I think I planted one on her in the scene.”
“It was scripted in the scene. I only know this because I think I saw a clip of it somewhere. Meghan Markle, there we go,” he said.
Russell also gave an update on his mother, who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run car crash recently.Â
