Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle attended the annual royal Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace yesterday.

In another break from tradition, the couple, who are yet to wed, attended the Christmas lunch, which is held every year for the extended Royal family to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Their appearance marks Meghan’s first public appearance since the week their engagement was announced back in November.

Harry and Meghan were pictured arriving in a Range Rover, while Prince William and Kate Middleton were also spotted driving into the palace with their nanny Maria Borrallo in the backseat.

The news comes after Kensington Palace confirmed that newly-engaged Meghan and Harry will spend Christmas Day with the Queen at her Sandringham Estate.

According to reports, Meghan was given special permission to spend Christmas with the Royal family, as her family are based in the US and she would have otherwise spent Christmas Day on her own.

Prince Harry and Meghan are set to wed at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.
