Paige Thorne addresses her ‘mean girl’ behaviour on Love Island

Paige Thorne has addressed her “mean girl” behaviour on Love Island.

Viewers branded the Welsh paramedic a “mean girl”, as they believed she was beginning to show her “true colours” later in the season.

Casa Amor bombshell Summer Botwe also claimed that producers had to step in when the girls’ stand-offish behaviour became too much for her to handle.

Speaking during her recent appearance on the Saving Grace podcast, Paige addressed her “mean girl” behaviour on the show.

The Welsh paramedic told host Grace Keeling: “I think at first, I was apparently portrayed to be like really sweet, innocent, pitiful Paige, like she’s heartbroken and all this…”

“And then towards the end, I was portrayed as like this mean girl that didn’t care and honestly, I’m just a dead mix, down the line of both.”

“So, I’m not one or the other, I’m in the middle babe – best of both worlds”.

Paige also addressed her split from the “ultimate bombshell” Adam Collard for the first time during her appearance on the podcast.

She confirmed: “I’m single – living my best life! I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time.”

Podcast host Grace then brought up the viral video of Adam with another girl, and asked Paige whether she knew the woman.

Paige replied: “No, not a clue. But she’s come to light now… They’re not friends.”

“But it’s not just that video. There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations,” the reality star claimed.

“At first I was like, nah, do you know what? It’s just an arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m in the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is it cheating? No. And then these other videos came out and I’m just like, ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.”

Paige also said of the videos: “I saw them the same time everybody else did. It was just like, ew. Ok. The other videos I saw were sent to me personally in DMs.”

The 24-year-old continued: “Deep down I always knew I was going to get done over. Did I get Collarded?”

When asked would she ever get back with Adam, Paige replied: “Absolutely not. I mean, would you? Would you get back with someone like that?”

“The videos speak for themselves. The ones everyone has seen and the ones only I’ve seen.”

Paige also revealed that since splitting from Adam, she has gotten back in contact with her Love Island flame Jacques O’Neill.

The Welsh paramedic and the personal trainer were the first of this year’s strongest couples to split; however, the 24-year-old hinted that this may not be the case.

During her appearance on the podcast, the Welsh paramedic played a game of ‘Say It Or Shot It’, and was asked: “Who is the fakest couple to come out of Love Island this year?”

Paige replied: “All I’m going to say on this is… There are how many couples left, three? Really there’s only two. But that’s a secret I’ll never tell.”

Although Paige said there are only three couples left from the show, there are actually four: Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, and Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri.

She did not reveal which couple she thought had secretly split.
