New Instagram rich list reveals which Bridgerton star is earning the most money

A new Instagram rich list has revealed which Bridgerton star is earning the most money.

New research conducted by money experts Coupon Ninja examined the social media profiles of every cast member from the second season of the hit Netflix show.

Coupon Ninja also use influencer marketing calculators to establish which star is the most influential and how much they can earn per sponsored Instagram post.

Their study revealed Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton on the hit show, as the most influential cast member from season two – earning up to £6,869 per sponsored social media post.

Phoebe has a follower count of 2.7 million, which is the highest following out of all the cast.

In second place is Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington on the show.

The Irish actress has the second-highest Instagram following of 1.4 million, allowing her to earn a potential of £3,520 per sponsored post.

Season two lead Jonathan Bailey can earn up to £3,038 per sponsored post, making him the third most influential star of the Netflix series.

Jonathan who plays Lord Anthony Bridgerton on the show, has 1.2 million followers.

The fourth most influential cast member is Sex Education star Simone Ashley, who plays the new season lead character Kate Sharma.

Simone can expect to earn up to £2,769 per sponsored post as a result of having more than 700 thousand followers.

Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, can expect to earn up to £2,119 per sponsored post, making him the fifth most influential star of season two due to his 561 thousand Instagram followers.

After Luke comes Julie Andrews, who voices Lady Whistledown on the show, then Ruby Barker who plays Marina Thompson.

Next up is Rupert Evans, who plays the Bridgerton family’s father, followed by Florence Hunt, then Adjoa Andoh.

Regé Jean-Page, who played Simon Basset in season one, has not returned for the new season so is not included in the list.

However, he could make a whopping £13,871 per sponsored post due to his Instagram following of 5.5 million.

A spokesperson for Coupon Ninja said: “The return of Bridgerton is a welcome one and there is no doubt millions of viewers will tune in to watch the new season. Season one smashed streaming records, with 82 million households streaming the series in the first month alone after its release in 2020.”

“Consequently, the show has proven to be a massive hit for Netflix and the cast are able to reap the benefits. As more people tune in to watch, the cast can expect to gain an even higher social media following, opening doors and opportunities to expand the actors and actress’ influence across social media.”
