Molly Marsh has addressed her “feud” with the other Love Island girls.
During her time on the summer 2023 series of the hit dating show, the blonde beauty struck up a romance with Zachariah Noble – and they went on to place fourth.
It has been a general consensus amongst this year’s Islanders that Molly rarely spoke to the girls while the “cameras were off”.
During her appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Molly revealed the girls “confronted” her, as she broke her silence on the “feud”.
The theatre performer said: “I knew it would be difficult, because at home I don’t have a group of girlfriends so I knew going into it I would struggle.”
“When I got there I settled and got along, I didn’t have that one friend I just got along. I would take myself off to the pool and try and sunbathe, have a breather. Think about the outside world. If I didn’t do that I would have lost it.”
Host Amanda Nicole Hirsch asked: “Would the others ask why don’t you hang out with us more?”
“Yes, but then they got to know that was just me,” Molly explained.
The host then questioned: “So you’re not bothered that Jess [Harding], Ella [Thomas], Catherine [Agbaje] and Whitney [Adebayo] are all BFFs and have a group chat without you? You don’t feel left out?”
“No,” the 21-year-old admitted. “I kind of expected that, I expected that, it is what it is. It’s probably best I’m not there. No, I expected that.”
“I didn’t really open up to them as much as they wanted me to but at the beginning I didn’t want to overshare my feelings, I kept them to myself to make sure I was ok. I didn’t want people to talk about me.”
The host then asked how it when when their fellow Islanders weren’t supportive of Molly and Zach’s relationship.
Zach said: “t really did feel like that at the start,” before Molly added: “I think at the beginning people didn’t know where your head was at until you opened up.”
“You could easily see where my head was at from day six,” Zach said.
Amanda asked: “Jess would make comments and Jess was kinda nice to everyone but she would make snide comments to you. Why?”
Zach responded: “I can’t even answer that question. Towards the end everyone knew what we was and every comment that was made wasn’t made to my face, it wasn’t a conversation.”
Molly and Zach struck up a romance on the summer 2023 series of Love Island, and went on to place fourth.
The basketball player, 25, and theatre performer, 21, secured 14.37% of the public vote.
