Molly-Mae Hague ‘ups her security amid fears her engagement ring will be stolen’

Molly-Mae Hague has reportedly upped her security, amid fears her engagement ring will be stolen.

The Love Island star, 24, got engaged to her boxer beau Tommy Fury in Ibiza last month.

It is believed that the diamond ring Tommy proposed with could be worth between £600,000 and £1 million.

According to The UK Sun, Molly-Mae is now fearful she will be targeted by thieves, after showing off her ring online.

The influencer and her fiancé’s old home was previously broken into while they were at an event and afterwards, Molly-Mae told fans she was going to be more careful about what she shared on social media.

A source told the outlet: “Molly has been really aware of flashing too much wealth following their 2021 break in. She’s has always had security, but has upped it now especially now she always has daughter Bambi with her.”

“Molly has seen what happened to Kim Kardashian in Paris and she recently doesn’t want to end up in a similar situation. She loves sharing her life with her fans, but just knows she has to be careful.”

After thieves stole £800k worth of designer goods and jewellery from Molly-Mae and Tommy’s Manchester flat in 2021, the reality star revealed she spent “thousands and thousands of pounds a month” on security.

In a YouTube video, she said: “Security is something we’ve had to take so much more seriously now, to the point where I’m spending thousands and thousands of pounds a month on having the right security.”

“At the end of the day, I don’t think I can put a price on feeling safe. I’ve never really known how to speak about it to be honest, because I feel like it’s something people could respond with ‘Who does she think she is’.

“It’s genuinely for no other reason than it makes me feel more safe and after what happened it’s just something that makes me feel better.”
