Kim Kardashian thief admits he feels no guilt over Paris robbery in shocking interview

One of the thieves who famously robbed Kim Kardashian has admitted he feels no guilt over the crime.

The reality star was robbed at gunpoint in Paris back in 2016, and the thieves stole nearly $10 million worth of jewellery from her hotel room.

In a new interview with VICE News, Yunis Abbas, one of 12 men arrested for the burglary, said the heist was planned after they saw Kim flaunt her jewellery on social media.

Yunis, who spent nearly two years in prison for his involvement in the robbery, said: “Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that.”

“Guilty? No, I don’t care,” he laughed. “I don’t care.”

Speaking about the robbery, Yunis said he stayed downstairs in the hotel to keep guard while other members of his gang tied up the reality star and threw her in the bathtub.

He also claimed Kim’s “secretary” dialled the wrong emergency number, which gave them more time to escape.

“Madame Kardashian’s secretary called for help. But she called 911 in the United States, which scared us, which made them lose a lot of time,” he said.

“And when we got out, there was a bunch of police outside who didn’t know anything about the robbery.”

Kim has spoken out about the robbery in the past, and admitted she thought she was going to be raped or murdered during the terrifying incident.

When asked about how the robbery affected the mother-of-four, Yunis acknowledged that she must have been “traumatized”.

“You don’t come out of it unscathed. We didn’t expect this,” he said.

“Of course she must have been traumatized.”

During the interview, the robber also warned other celebrities about flaunting their wealth on social media.

“They should be a little less showy towards people who can’t afford it. For some people, it’s provocative,” he added.

Kim opened about the terrifying robbery on season three of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, admitting she thought she was going to be killed at the time.

The 41-year-old told the host that at about 3am, she heard “stomping up the stairs” of her hotel room, and felt “immediate panic” when she sensed it was not her sister Kourtney.

The mother-of-four teared up as she opened up about the fear going through her head when the robbers entered her room, and said:  “I was like, ‘OK, this is the time I’m gonna get raped. Like deal, this is gonna happen, just prepare yourself.’”

Kim recalled the robbers asking her to hand over her $4 million engagement ring, which was given to her by Kanye West.

“So, I did and then — I don’t know why I’m crying, I’ve talked about this before — and then he tied me up with handcuffs and zip-ties and then duct tape and duct-taped my mouth and my eyes,” she said through tears.

“I kept on thinking about Kourtney, I kept on thinking, like, she’s gonna come home and I’m gonna be dead in the room and she’s gonna be traumatized for the rest of her life.”

“Besides that little cry session, I’m totally fine,” Kim assured David, “I really am.”

“I remember calling all my sisters from the car, we were on a conference call. I’m like, ‘Guys, thank God that was me. I’m very mentally strong and that would have f**ked all of your lives up for the rest of your life.’”
