Made In Chelsea star quits the show following bitter split from cast member

Made In Chelsea star Bella Sharpe has reportedly quit the show, following her bitter split from Reza Amiri-Garroussi.

The 27-year-old will not appear in the upcoming season, as she wants to focus on her fashion career.

Bella joined the hit show last year as Reza’s love interest, but the couple’s romance came to a dramatic end while filming the series in Sydney.

The couple’s relationship had issues due to Reza’s close bond with his ex-girlfriend Ruby Adler, which lead to the pair kissing while they were filming Down Under.

A source told MailOnline: “Bella has decided to leave Made In Chelsea after a year.”

“She joined the show as Reza’s partner and now they’re no longer together, she didn’t see much point in remaining on the series.”

“Bella had always hoped for a positive resolution with Rez and while they are friends, she and Ruby still struggle to see eye to eye.”

They added: “Her fashion career is incredibly important to her and all she wants now is to focus on her work, without having to worry about any TV drama.”

Bella previously told MailOnline she quit her PR job at high fashion brand Flannels to star on Made In Chelsea, as it became “impossible” to balance the demands of her job and the travel for the programme.

She admitted: “I was working at Flannels as a PR manager, and I was there for about a year and a half and then I went to Corsica.”

“I left Flannels because I needed to be at my desk for 9-6 every single day and it was just impossible. Now I’m freelancing in PR and working on a brand.”

Bella explained that she didn’t see herself on the series for a long time, and insisted she would leave to pursue other projects before she turned 30.

She added: “I don’t want to be doing this past 30. If I’m still 30 and doing this then I have not achieved my career goal.”

Bella and Reza dated after his 10-year-long relationship with Ruby ended.

However, the pair’s feelings for each other were still there, and they grew close again when the cast filmed the latest series in Sydney – which left Bella heartbroken.

She and Ruby were close friends but their friendship suffered due to the love triangle.

Bella said filming the show had caused her “anxiety” – in particular the moment when she was flown out to Corsica without Reza knowing.
