Whitney Adebayo has responded after her former Love Island flame Mehdi Edno revealed he was “waiting for her” outside the villa.
Mehdi was dumped from the island at the end of June alongside his co-star Mal Nichol.
Whitney then struck up a romance with Casa Amor bombshell Lochan Nowacki, and the pair went on to place runners-up during Monday night’s final.
After being dumped from the villa earlier this summer, Mehdi revealed he was “waiting for” Whitney outside of the villa to see if they could pick up their romance where it was left off.
During her appearance on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast, Whitney was informed of Mehdi’s comments, and simply replied: “Damn…”
“I wouldn’t like double back, he had his chance. He wanted Leah [Taylor], and we’re never gonna forget it.”
Whitney and Lochan received 26.85% of the public vote on Monday night, placing runners-up behind Sammy Root and Jess Harding with 34.57% of the vote.
Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde, who placed third, secured 24.21% of the vote.
Finally, fourth place couple Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble received 14.37% of the public vote.
