Love Island star Jess Harding has hit back at claims she got a “tummy tuck”.
The 22-year-old shot to fame while appearing on the 2023 summer series of the dating show, which she won alongside Sammy Root.
Earlier this week, the beauty salon owner shared a video of her undergoing a procedure on her stomach to her Instagram Stories, after admitting she “gained weight” in the villa.
She later explained to her followers that she did not go under the knife and get a “tummy tuck”.
Jess wrote: “Some of you may have seen a story about me having a tummy tuck. Just to be completely transparent, this isn’t true!”
“Before Love Island I had wood therapy and non invasive body contouring but nothing surgical. I love my body as should we all.”
“Thank you for all of your support. Nothing goes unnoticed,” she added.
It comes after Jess hit back at online trolls who criticized her final look and dress.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the reality star said: “It wasn’t very nice to read, but I think I looked alright for the rest of the Love Island time.”
“I’m not losing any sleep over it. The dress was ruched at the side. It didn’t sit quite right on my boobs so it made me look bigger than what I am – I’ve actually got a diddy little waist. But you can’t have boobs and a bum and not hips.”
“To be honest, I’ve heard there’s all these negative comments out there but I’ve not really seen anything, so I’m quite happy. I’m sure if I went fishing for the negativity it would be there, but the support is crazy. ”
“I didn’t actually realise how many people love me – remember that, Sammy!” Jess added.
