Jake Cornish has announced a drastic career change.
The 25-year-old shot to fame after placing fifth on Love Island 2021 with his ex Liberty Poole.
The former couple famously decided to quit the villa just days before the final.
Jake, who was a water engineer before entering the Majorcan villa, has since decided to try his hand at acting.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the 25-year-old revealed he has landed a role in an upcoming film.
Sharing a photo of himself in character, Jake wrote: “Meet DI Jacob’s 👨🏻💼. Over the moon to announce that I am playing such a big role in the new @mrhyde_2022 untold story film 🎥.”

Jake continued: “Who knows ? New change of career 👀😆. I’ve always wanted to be involved in films and here we are.”

Fans flocked to the comments section of the post to congratulate Jake on his new career venture, with one writing: “You’re smashing it Jake! Huge congrats 🙌👏.”
