Jason Gardiner responds to claims that he ‘sold stories’ about Gemma Collins

Jason Gardiner has denied claims that he ‘sold stories’ about Gemma Collins amid ‘Dancing On Ice’ drama.

On last night’s episode, while Jason critiqued the reality star’s performance, Gemma interrupted and accused the judge of ‘selling stories’ about her, she said: “Boring! Next! Don’t sell stories on me.”

The former TOWIE star was referring to a story where he called the contestant ‘lazy’ and ‘mediocre.’

The 47-year-old has now responded to the claims on Twitter, he wrote: “For those foolish enough to believe the salacious & libellous accusations about me selling stories to @TheSun, read what journalist @SimonBoyle87 says as he sets the record straight! #honestjudge #integrity #Doingmyjob.”

Gemma skated to ‘Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend,’ but Jason was not impressed he said: “There wasn’t any elegance. Marilyn Monroe was a woman in control of her femininity.”

“You were all over the place still and there was not enough skating content. And as Ashley said, there’s not enough skating. This is your second skate now.”

Before he was interrupted he said: “You need to up the ante. We’re not going to see big lifts from you. We’re not going to get any impressive moves.”

After Gemma accused him of selling stories he replied: “This doesn’t help your cause. It shows you’re just a brat. Listen to what we’re saying.”
