Holly Willoughby remains silent as This Morning presenters wish Josie Gibson ‘good luck’ ahead of I’m A Celeb appearance

Holly Willoughby has remained silent as her ex This Morning presenters wished fellow host Josie Gibson, good luck ahead of her appearance in the Australian jungle.

ITV confirmed the Bristol native as part of the line-up in an announcement on Monday evening.

A host of This Morning presenters have taken to social media to wish the TV presenter good luck, however Holly Willoughby has stayed silent on social media.

Rylan Clarke and Cat Deeley sent their best wishes to the star ahead of Tuesday’s This Morning episode.

Rylan said: “She’s so nervous but I think she’s going to be brilliant!”

While new host Cat gushed: “She’s so brave!”

“I think I speak for everyone here when I say we are so excited to watch her in the jungle, it’s going to be gold!,” added Rylan.

Alison Hammond took to her social media to congratulate Josie – resharing an image of the 38-year-old set to enter the jungle accompanied with a selection of gifs.

Tuesday’s installment of This Morning also featured a pre-recorded message from the mother-of-one as she jetted off Down Under.

“Hello you guys, so the rumours are true! I am heading to the jungle…. just arrived at Heathrow Airport now. I have said an emotional goodbye to Reggie and I keep thinking to myself ‘What have I done? What have I signed up for?”, Josie told audiences.

“I’m just hoping that I am a survivor but thank you for all your support! I just hope I get through this because I cannot stand creepy crawlies, I don’t like heights, I don’t like rats and I don’t like snakes, so wish me luck!”

While Josie’s fellow presenters wished her luck, Holly Willoughby has remained silent – despite presenting This Morning alongside Josie on several occasions.

Holly quit the popular morning show last month after a report revealed news of the star’s alleged kidnap and murder plot.

She has since made no television appearances apart from appearing in the Save The Children’s annual fundraising Christmas jumper campaign.
