Girls Aloud set for MAJOR new venture – after announcing their reunion tour

Girls Aloud are reportedly set for a major new venture after announcing their reunion tour, just last month.

Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts will be touring the UK and Ireland next year – including one date in Dublin and one date in Belfast, in honour of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.

The girl group recently announced the news via Instagram, paying homage to their hit discography, in particular their 2009 track The Promise.

According to The Sun, since the iconic pop-group have now sold over 200,000 tickets, the girlband is getting offers to bring their tour to the big screen.

An insider told the publication: “Since the news of Girls Aloud’s reunion their management have been bombarded with offers for all sorts of things, particularly loads of TV and streaming specials.”

“Girls Aloud regularly filmed and released their tours on DVD back in the day.”

“But things have moved on, so they have been interested to hear what other options are on the table.”

The source continued: “The demand for tickets has been so phenomenal that it has sparked a bidding war between companies who are keen to land the rights to their show.”

“They are very careful about what they do, though, because they don’t want to exploit their legacy or do anything that cheapens their brand.”

“It is important that they are all in complete agreement when it comes to accepting any offers on the table.”

Due to popular demand, the band added several extra dates to their tour – including one more in Dublin’s 3Arena.

Girls Aloud will play the venue on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 2024 and the SSE Arena in Belfast on Monday, May 20, 2024.

The popular girl group’s last Irish gig was back in 2013 when they played the 3Arena, formerly The O2, in support of their 2012 album Ten.
