Frankie Bridge’s young son rushed to A&E after struggling to breathe

Frankie Bridge has revealed her son Parker was rushed to A&E after suffering another croup attack.

Croup is a condition that affects children’s airways, which can leave them struggling to breathe.

The seven-year-old also suffered an attack back in October, with Frankie opening up about the “terrifying” incident to her Instagram followers.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, the former Saturdays’ star said: “Look at the state of me. I’ve got a nerve coming on like this haven’t I? Not even washed today. Yeah just one of those rubbish nights. We knew Parker was gonna get croup, we just knew it.”

“The boys have runny noses to the point where last night we had Parker in our bed because we knew it was gonna come, and it did. So we ended up rushing to A&E when he still couldn’t breathe after awhile and nearly ended up staying over. But because we are croup pros, they let us bring him home.”

“It’s just so scary for him and for us, and trying to keep him calm is very difficult… It’s just not something you ever used to I don’t think. Seeing someone you love gasping for air. It’s just horrendous. There is nothing you can do really to help, which is really horrible, being so helpless.”

The singer shares two sons with her husband Wayne Bridge, Parker and Carter.
