Ferne McCann has revealed her newborn daughter’s unusual name.
The former TOWIE star gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, her first with her fiancé Lorri Haines, on July 6th.
The 32-year-old, who also shares five-year-old daughter named Sunday with her jailbird ex Arthur Collins, has since revealed her newborn is named Finty Francis Haines-McCann.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Ferne explained: “It was on my name list when I gave birth to Sunday. I don’t know where I got it from, but when I typed it in [on Google] I saw Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname is Finty.”
“I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else before. I just feel so connected to the name – she came out and she was just Finty. I think she sounds like a character out of Bridgerton.”
She also explained the meaning behind Finty’s middle name, saying: “Francis is my grandad’s name – it’s a nod to Grandad Frank.”
Lorri, who also has a six-year-old son from a previous relationship, proposed to Ferne last July after six months of dating.
Prior to her relationship with Lorri, Ferne dated Arthur Collins – who she shares her daughter Sunday with.
In April 2017, Arthur was arrested for carrying out an acid attack at a nightclub in East London.
Ferne, who was pregnant with Sunday at the time, dumped Arthur over the scandal and he was later sentenced to 20 years in prison.
