Fans were left baffled after Vicky Pattinson debuted a bizarre new accent.
The 35-year-old, who is well-known for her Geordie accent, appeared on the most recent episode of Chloe Burrow’s podcast Chloe vs The World.
During one segment of the show, Vicky revealed how she had Sam Thompson blocked on Instagram.
However, it wasn’t the content of the episode that got fans talking, rather Vicky’s accent.
Listeners picked up that the Newcastle native had developed a bizarre Scottish twang.
TikTok users also pointed out that the 35-year-old kept dipping in and out of her regular Geordie accent and the new Scottish one.
One TikTok user penned: “The accent change was like 📈📉📈.”
A second wrote: “why is she slowly turning scottish!,” as a third agreed: “She sounds so Scottish now x.”
Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Where has the Scottish accent come from 😳😂,” and another commented: “I’ve listened and Vicki’s accent went from Scottish to qeordie to southern then American throughout.”
