Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have revealed the “most challenging” thing about life after Love Island.
The dancer and the realtor met on the dating show last year, and they finished in fourth place overall.
One year later, and the couple are stronger than ever – living together with their adorable rescue puppy Luna.
Goss.ie caught up with Tasha and Andrew at an exclusive brunch in Dublin on Tuesday, which was hosted by Virgin Mobile – the exclusive sponsor of Love Island on Virgin Media.
We asked them what the most challenging thing about a relationship in the public eye, and Andrew replied: “I’d say trolls and stuff like that. They can get to you. But as long as we have each other, that’s the most important thing.”
“We do have each other’s backs. And we do have our ups and downs, but we’re there for each other and I think that’s very important.”

Tasha agreed, saying: “Yeah definitely. I think it’s surprising because there are people out there that can’t wait to see you break up. And you kind of have to just ignore the trolls and be like actually, you don’t know our relationship on the inside.”
“All that matters is what we know and what happens between us two. So it’s just staying strong and getting past that, and we do.”
When asked would they say to the people who doubted their relationship, Andrew replied with a laugh: “Look at us now!”
“I don’t really think about them to be fair. We’re happy, and that’s the important thing. We know how good we are so…”
Tasha added: “Yeah, and I get that the doubters kind of judged from 40 minutes every night on the show, but you don’t see everything behind-the-scenes.”
“The only thing that matters, like Andrew said, is what we think. We’re good, we’re happy, and that’s all that matters.”
Revealing the secret to a happy relationship, Andrew said: “Communication is probably the key thing.”
Tasha agreed: “Yeah. When you come out of the show, so much happens, especially separately with your careers. So it’s all about having that communication and being there for each other.”
