Ed Sheeran shares his very FIRST Rolling Stone cover

Ed Sheeran has shared an image of his first ever Rolling Stone cover.

The superstar has been smashing chart history with his new album Divide, so it’s not surprising that he graces the cover of the iconic magazine.

Divide has shifted 432,000 copies in its first three days on sale, and Ed is on track to take the record for one of the best-ever opening weeks.

The singer took to Instagram with a picture, saying My first Rolling Stone cover, everywhere Friday x”.

The song Galway Girl from Ed’s newest album has been doing immensely well in Ireland, as it features traditional Irish music and trad band Beoga.

The singer previously revealed that Niamh Dunne, a fiddle player in Northern-Irish band Beoga, was the inspiration behind the song.

Fans were sad to hear that Niamh is not from Galway, and that Ed made up the entire story for the song.
