EastEnders character Ian Beale is being “written out” of the soap, so he can take an “extended break”
Actor Adam Woodyatt, who has played the role for 35 years, is reportedly taking a “prolonged holiday”.
Ian Beale will be off screen for around 10 weeks due to an “explosive plot twist”, according to the Daily Star.
Ian has been apart of the biggest storyline this year with the death of Dennis Mitchell, which he caused.
The character has not faced any justice over the death but bosses have hinted that Sharon, played by Letitia Dean, will soon uncover what happened to her son.
The news comes after show bosses revealed the soap will be back on air on September 7.
